The Iranian authorities are making fun of the "biggest sanctions list ever recorded by the United States", as it includes a sunken oil tanker and a closed bank in 2012.

United States The Ministry of Finance imposed sanctions on more than 700 Iranian convictions and on Monday Iransubsidiaries, companies, aircraft and ships.

Among other things, the sanctions against the Iranian airline and the country's nuclear commission were addressed for the first time, underlining the maximalist approach of the US President Donald Trump's government.

On the list of sanctions, however, there are also surprising items, such as the oil tanker Sanchi. The ship collided with a Chinese freighter in January and fired off the Chinese coast. The 32 people on board lost their lives in the accident.

Another surprising entry is the Tat Bank, which closed in 2012. The sanctions also include the Boeing 747 aircraft model, which is the Iran Air fleet and was manufactured in the 1970s.

Iran's Foreign Minister Javad Zarif took advantage of Twitter to mislead some of the US sanctions targets, which he calls a desperate psychological ploy.

"The United States has designated a bank that shut down six years ago and a ship that sank into a television saga," he writes, followed by the subject "USisIsolated."

Eshaq Jahangiri, senior vice president of President Hassan Rouhani, also criticizes US sanctions.

"Americans think their list is more effective if it is as long as possible," he said, according to the Iranian news agency IRNA.

He added that he had discussed sanctions with other officials and that many of them had said that the list of sanctions was shorter than expected.
