– We will make a gesture to lead the election again. Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Chief of Muttahida Majilise-Amal (MMA)

. The statement came after a multi-party conference in Islamabad, where a joint strategy was developed to protest the alleged cheating under Wednesday's choice. The conference was chaired by Shabhaz Sharif, the head of PML-N, brother of Pakistani Foreign Minister Nawaz Sharif

– The multi-party conference completely rejected the July 25 election. According to Rehman, the result of this mandate is not a mandate of the Pakistani people, but a mere theft of the warrant.

The election in Pakistan has been described as "dirtier" and the opposition accuses the powerful Pakistani military of rigging it. In 1965, EU observers estimated that the closure of the elections had gone well but that the electoral process had not been as good as in 2013. Observers criticize the campaign, where at least 180 people were killed in acts of violence.

Khan and his Tehreek-e-Insaf Party (PTI) were victorious in Wednesday's election but did not get a large majority in the National Assembly to form a government without the support of others.
