Despite the emergence of different rental services, more than half (56%) of Norwegians motivated by the trip prefer to stay in hotels. It appears in a new report from the hotel search page and momondo.no travel.

The report also shows that:

* For short trips of up to three days, it is a city vacation that attracts Norwegians abroad. London, Copenhagen and Stockholm are the three most popular destinations among Norwegians who check into hotels.

* When we travel to Norway, Oslo, Bergen and Tromsø are at the top of the list. It probably means that it is largely a business traveler.

* For trips of more than two weeks, metropolitan areas and beaches are deadlines. Outside of Europe, Dubai, New York and Orlando are the favorites of the hotel's Norwegian guests.

* Monday and Tuesday are the most popular days for searching for hotels. Should we be on a short trip, we book the hotel an average of 50 days before departure. If we travel far, we reserve 72 days in advance.

* On average, we are looking for six minutes to decide. (ANB)
