This confirms Anders Lännholm, head of rescue operations at the Swedish Maritime and Air Rescue Center in Gothenburg, opposite VG.

More witnesses

– We were informed at 02:30 that a person was out of the boat. There is talk of one man and there were more witnesses to the incident, he said.

Lännholm claims to have no information that the person should have been pushed by the boat.

Stena Saga, who was traveling from Oslo to Frederikshavn, has now been ordered to stay in the area where the man has fallen to the sea. The boat is about three miles from Hamburgsund to Bohuslän

"There are now helicopters, submarines and other boats from the shipping company looking for the man.It is urgent because it is only 10 degrees in the air. It is quite dark, says Lännholm.

The missing persons fell into the sea from a bridge about 20 meters above sea level. The evidence of the incident should have been immediately informed of the disturbance.

Stena Line press officer Jesper Waltersson told VG shortly before 4:00 that the missing document had not yet been found.

"We are now working with the rescue center to find this man," said Waltersson.

At 06:55, VG announces that the missing one has not been found yet.

VG will come back with more
