In an interview with the Recode technology website, Zuckerberg said that Facebook is eager to stop the spread of false news, but that beliefs are not being removed.
This remark has sparked a lot of agitation in social media. Zuckerberg, who is himself a Jew, has himself chosen to deny the Holocaust an example of what he meant.
– I consider him deeply offensive. But in the end, I do not think our platform should delete that because I think there are things about which people are wrong. I do not think they're wrong, said Zuckerberg
Critics quickly headed to the Facebook boss's comment, pointing out, among other things, that this type of allegations can wreak havoc and lead to violence.

Zuckerberg later had to change the statement. Now, it is said that comments that condemn violence or express hatred against a particular group will be deleted.
