New York State has released a list of comorbidities and underlying health issues to determine eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine.

New Yorkers of any age who have any of the comorbidities on the list will be eligible for the vaccine starting February 15, as the following conditions present an increased risk of moderate or severe illness or death from the virus that causes the disease. COVID-19. The conditions are:

  • Pregnancy
  • Sickle cell anemia or thalassemia
