An Orange County baby too young to have been vaccinated and a Long Beach man are the last confirmed cases of measles in Southern California, officials said Saturday.

The baby, less than a year old, is being treated at the Orange County Children's Hospital, the Orange County Health Care Agency said in a statement. The child does not have an international travel history. This is the second case of measles reported by Orange County this year.

The Long Beach man, a graduate student at Irvine University, was vaccinated and did not travel outside the country either, said Emily Holman, a spokesman for the University of Irvine. Health and Social Services Long Beach.

The man was on campus for three days while he was suffering from measles, exposing others to the highly contagious disease, the authorities said. Health officials are studying how he contracted it.
