The Georgia Bureau of Investigation reports that 50-year-old Savannah police sergeant Kelvin Ansari and Edward Fuller III, a 49-year-old robbery suspect, were declared dead at the hospital.
A senior Georgia law enforcement official said in a statement that Ansari and officer Douglas Thomas had responded to a call regarding the theft of a person in front of a barber in Savannah on Saturday night.
