Oh my god no, please, no: a spider makes a nest in the ear of this guy

Doctors in China have found an unusual cause for a patient's ear problems: there was a spider in it and she was building a nest.

According to the South China Morning Post, the patient from Jiangsu, China – north of Shanghai – reported an "intense itchy" in the ear and went to the hospital last month.

"I did not notice it during the inspection [his ear] to the naked eye, "Dr. Zhang Pan of the Yangzhou University Affiliated Hospital told the Sun. "However, using an endoscope, I discovered the little spider inside."

The spider was filmed as it spun a web into the patient's ear canal.

To make matters worse, the elusive arachnid moved too fast to be caught with instruments and had to be evacuated, UPI said.
