The OnePlus 6 and 6T are two of the company’s oldest phones that still receive regular updates, bringing new security fixes and optimizations. With their latest stable releases of OxygenOS 10.3.7, the two flagships of 2018 are upgraded to the current security level, along with a lot of gaming features and general system-level fixes.

OnePlus updated the 6 and 6T with the November patch, keeping its promise to provide bi-weekly security updates. Along with this addition, you also have the option to hide silent notifications in the status bar, which was previously released in the North. Additionally, OnePlus also fixed an issue with screenshots failing when capturing, affecting a few users.

Game Space – the application dedicated to games – has received many new features with this version of OxygenOS. First up, you get a new switch for Fnatic mode, as well as the ability to choose the type of notifications you want to receive (or block them entirely) while gaming. OnePlus has also added quick replies for instant messengers. such as WhatsApp and a feature to avoid contact errors.

The company claims that only a handful of OnePlus 6 and 6T units are currently receiving the OxygenOS 10.3.7 update as part of a phased rollout. A larger release is expected to take place in the next few days once it becomes clear that the release does not introduce more issues than it aims to address. You can wait for the official rollout to reach your unit, or use Oxygen Updater to download the update a little earlier.
