OnePlus is working on a new pair of true wireless earbuds, following on from the OnePlus Buds and Buds Z which both launched last year. The new model will be called OnePlus Buds Pro, and in our book that’s a strong clue to them with active noise cancellation.
We don’t know anything about them other than the fact that they’re coming soon, and this was revealed by OnePlus itself, through its Lab initiative. This allows a few members of the OnePlus community to try out new products before they launch, and today the company has started signing up with people who want to experience Buds Pro before everyone else. You have until July 17 at 23:59 GMT + 8 (China time) to submit your application. If you are chosen, you will find out on July 20.
The Lab test is also open for the next Nord 2 smartphone, and for that the application deadline is the same. The OnePlus Nord 2 will go official on July 22, and we assume the Buds Pro will be announced alongside the new handset.
