The agency said that a woman in her twenties residing in Placentia had reported recent international travel in one of the many countries experiencing extensive measles activity.
The unidentified woman is considered contagious between April 23rd and May 1st. She is currently in solitary confinement at home.
Residents in Orange County may have been exposed to measles since the woman visited public places while they were infectious. For any questions regarding measles or potential exposure, call the HCA Health Referral Line at 1 (800) 564-8448.
