An Oregon health worker has been hospitalized following a severe allergic reaction to the Moderna coronavirus vaccine, the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) said this week.

It was the second COVID-19 vaccine to receive such approval in the United States. Previously, in December, the FDA granted emergency use authorization for a vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech.
