And we’re back there, which means the COVID memes are back, this time with our plans against the Delta variant. For many of us, we thought that this drop might be a bit normal again, since a vaccine is readily available and anyone can go and get it (except children under 12 years old). ). Instead, we’ve seen an influx of excuses why people won’t get vaccinated and a staggering spread of the disease.
So now all those fall plans we thought we could have are in limbo, and many of us had such hope. Out of that desperation, however, was born a brand new meme that is a hilarious reminder of old memes from March and our constant struggle for optimism with people doing the right thing that constantly backfires on all of us. I can’t wait to see the “My plans for the future vs the rest of my life on earth fighting a pandemic” memes.
For ours we made Peter and MJ in Spider-Man: Far From Home just enjoy their trip and go to the theater, then the Delta variant is Mysterio.
