The Palm Springs Fire Department is at the scene of a “mass incident” with 10 patients complaining of respiratory problems in the 1100 block of Farrel Drive, near the Palm Springs DMV office.
According to the firefighters, there are several firefighter units and AMR ambulances on the scene. An original post from PSFD mentioned that there were 15 patients, however, Captain Nathan Gunkel later corrected it and said there were 10 patients.

Gunkel told the News Channel 3 team at the scene that none of the patients had been sent to hospital. There was no word on the cause of the respiratory tract problems.
The Palm Springs DMV remains closed, it is not known how long this closure could last.
