What can happen if you park in front of a fire hydrant and a fire breaks out?
Anaheim Fire & Rescue tweeted a warning Tuesday for the sake of anyone foolish enough to park in front of a fire hydrant.
Firefighters arrived in a house with a fire, but found a car parked in front of the fire's mouth. They broke the windows of the car and put the hose in the car.
Have you ever wondered what happens when a car is parked in front of a fire hydrant and a fire breaks out? Closer parking is it worth the broken windows and the quotation and towing fees for @AnaheimPD? @City_of_Anaheim residents do not park in the fire halls pic.twitter.com/Q96E4gfTOR

After posting the photos, the fire department was the subject of much criticism. On Wednesday, they responded, "We posted this incident to illustrate and educate, not to humiliate anyone. To know why breaking the windows instead of going under, on or around the car, it does not work. The pipe needs a straight line out of the fire's mouth. We do not damage property unless they are needed. "
