Patch Notes 0.203 are active

The Pokémon GO 0.203 release notes have just been shared by Niantic on the official support website, highlighting the quality of life updates and bug fixes released with this release. Version 0.203 is slowly rolling out to gamers around the world on Android. For Apple users, this version will appear as version 1.169 in the App Store.

Updates

• Trainers can now more easily select all units of an item by pressing the minus button when the selection is at one, instead of having to press the plus sign to get the maximum count.
• When you complete a timed research task in your today’s view that rewards a Pokémon encounter, it will order itself to be at the top of the page if you leave the encounter.
• Top-level search notifications will now appear on the left side of the screen to distinguish them from other search progress notifications.
• Added the message “Time’s Up!” to notify you when the time runs out for gym battles

Bug fixes

• Fixed a bug that caused Trainers to use Free or Premium Battle Passes when invited to a raid, accompanied by a “Walk Closer” message. Coaches can now join the raid they are invited to with a Remote Raid Pass.
• Authorized Candy XL exchanges when the trainer has the exact number of Candies to convert to Candy XL.
• Fixed a bug in GO Battle League that would display the Pokémon Switch menu again if a Pokémon was extinguished at the same time as it passed out.
• Fixed an issue in GO Battle League where the toggle buttons were not available at the end of the Charged Attack animation.
• Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented Trainers from inviting certain friends to raids until they changed their research.
• Fixed a bug where if a trainer’s Bluetooth was disabled, the “Connect to Nintendo Switch” option would still display.
• Fixed a visual bug where purified Shadow Pokémon would still display the characteristics of Shadow Pokémon after purification.
• Fixed several UI issues in Russian and other languages.
• Fixed Pokémon icons not appearing in in-app notifications.
