BOSTON (CBS) – After winning the Super Bowl, Patriots coaches have undergone significant changes. A new name can now be added to this list: the coach of the character, Jack Easterby.
Nora Princiotti and Ben Volin of the Boston Globe said Easterby – "one of Bill Belichick's closest confidants" – was leaving the Patriots. His contract expired at the end of the 2018 season, according to the report.
The report also notes that the prostitution charges against Robert Kraft last week had an impact on Easterby's decision to look for other possibilities.
"Easterby feels that his time with the team is over and that the situation at Kraft does not suit him, according to league sources," the report says.
Although Easterby did not coach X and O players with the Patriots, he was a respected member of the team.
