A team of veterinarians from the Russian city of Omsk operated a bird that would have been he came to the clinic by himself and even "knocked on the door" to ask for help. The incredible story was published on the Russian social network of VK by Polina Smislova, a specialist who participated in the operation.

According to this doctor, it's a pigeon literally "knocked on the door" of the clinic. The staff found the customer unusual when he heard slight blows on the glazed door from the entrance. Her wing looked seriously injured, so the doctors decided to do an X-ray to see if she was fractured.

The fact is that the bird, who later received the name of Frank, not only was not afraid of doctors, but, on the contrary, he walked alone to his hands and he let them examine him.

It quickly became clear that the "patient" had to be operated on. Several veterinarians have joined forces to help Frank and his team. managed to perform a successful surgery.

According to Smislova, the case was not complicated: it was a closed fracture, without fragmentation nor displacement. Now, Frank feels good and is almost ready to fly. "That's how we gave another bird the opportunity to return to paradise"says the doctor.

However, Frank remains at the clinic to this day. Those who love him are sure that belongs to a purebred. They assume that he had to live in a dovecote and not be used to the cold. They are afraid to let him out, according to Smislova. Once your convalescence is over, you will be transferred to a pet shop where you will be cared for until your owners appear.
