Correa, who was playing on loan at Sao Bento in the Brazilian second division, was found dead and castrated on 27 October in a forested area outside the town of Curitiba, in southern Brazil, after having participated at the birthday party of Allana at the Britts.

The footballer was taken to bed with Brittes' wife, with whom he photographed while he was asleep and shared the pictures on Whatsapp with some of his contacts.
