Italdesign developed, designed and built the vehicle. While the distinctive and lively designs of the exterior and interior were created by the teams of Nissan Design Europe in London and Nissan Design America.

Sportier and a more elegant design

The Nissan GT-R50 from Italdesign has a golden interior that extends over almost the entire width of the vehicle. The hood has a steeper raised section, and the thin LED headlamps extend from the wheel arch to the edge above the external cooling inlets.

On the side, the distinctive roofline has been reduced by 54 millimeters and has a lower central section, while the slightly elevated outer sections give the roof profile a muscular appearance.

While the exclusive cooling outlets "samurai blade" behind the front wheels have gained prominence with a gold inlay and extend from the bottom of the doors to the side design on the shoulders.

The rear highlights the vehicle's wide lane with light and muscular flares around the wheels. On the other hand, the line of the rear window goes down longer and deeper than in the basic model. Combined with more gold elements, it appears as a separate modular element from the rear structure.

One of the most important elements of the Nissan GT-R has been upgraded, so that the round taillights of the Nissan GT-R50 we see as a separate "floating" function with thin rings of light and concave centers, mounted to join the outer buttress and the central part of the trunk structure. A large, adjustable rear wing completes the overall appearance.

Nissan GT-R50 with better engine

The Italdesign Godzilla delivers powerful performance and, based on Nissan's experience in GT3, NISMO has improved the 3.8-liter VR38DETT V6 engine assembled to the hand to produce an estimated torque of 720 horsepower and 780 Nm.

Powertrain changes include large-diameter, high-performance, high-performance GT3 turbochargers and larger intercoolers; crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods and heavy bearings; improved camshaft; higher speed fuel injectors; and optimized ignition, intake and exhaust systems. A six-speed sequential rear gearbox with dual reinforced clutch and more powerful differential and drive shafts transmit power to the wheels.

The suspension is improved, with the BILSTEIN DampTronic I continuously adjustable damping system. While the Brembo brakes – six front pistons and four rear pistons – have bright red claws clearly visible.

The Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, with a size of 255/35 R21 at the front and 285/30 R21 at the rear, add a level of light. adhesion necessary to take advantage of the power of the engine.

The custom wheels (21 x 10 inches at the front and 21 x 10.5 inches at the rear) accentuate the vehicle's bold stance. The exterior is refined with Liquid Kinetic Gray paint with distinctive Energetic Sigma Gold anniversary accents.
