A few days ago, Facebook launched a new tool called Watch Party with which users can view and comment on group videos. With this feature, which is already available on all platforms, we can create lists with videos that are played for everyone at the same time. Using it is very simple, although for the moment we can only do it within social network groups. Let's see how it works.
The first thing to do is to connect to Facebook and enter the group with which you want to share a video or playlist. In the publication drawer (where you have the option to write or upload photos or videos) you will see a new option called "Video in group " with a pop icon -Corn. Click this link
The next step is to press the "Add Video" button to start adding content to your playlist. It should be noted that this tool only allows you to add videos uploaded to Facebook, not external services such as YouTube – at least for the moment.
Here you will have several options. You can use the search engine by filtering terms (for example, "kittens") or tabs that Facebook offers us with the options for videos "View", "Live", "Saved" and "Suggestions". Once you have selected the video (or videos) you want, just click on the "Publish" tab.
When you do this, other members of the group will be notified to invite them to join our reproduction. Once they have accepted it, they can see the content and comment live with the rest of the users watching it.
