The river patrol boat LPF "NANAY", from Marina of Peru, was attacked last Tuesday during a fluvial control operation conducted by the General Command of Amazon Operations in the Putumayo River Basin, in the Manuel Clavero District Province, in Loreto.

The Marina said, by a statement, that the attack had occurred at the apogee of Refugio (Colombia), 36 kilometers downstream of downtown Soplín Vargas. According to naval sources, the attack would have taken place from a ship and the land, but it is unknown for the moment who perpetrated it.

During the attack, the second technician of the child was injured Marina Richard Reynaldo Terry Rodríguez, Third Marine Officer Marina Juan Antonio Ramos Núñez and the naval officer of the third warship practice Gerson Carlos Ojanama Holland.

The three members of the navy are stable and out of danger. They were transferred to Puerto Leguizamo, Colombia, to be serviced by naval personnel from the Southern Naval Forces Hospital of the Navy of the Republic of Colombia.
