The Maserati Levante was expected as the model that would come to compete with Porsche Cayenne . The Italian brand used a V6 engine for this, which meant a positive proposition but it was not enough to compete with the German SUV .

That is why a few months ago Maserati presented a radical version of the Levente christened as the Trophy, some SUV with the V8 engine Ferrari whose power is close to 600 horsepower and offers the intelligent Q4 AWD system

But Maserati knows that not all of its customers are looking for an SUV offering such extreme benefits for the city. For this reason, with the help of Ferrari, he decided to work on the basis of the eight-cylinder engine of 3.8 liters – the same as the Quattroporte – and to offer a version with 550 horses.

While it is true that there is a significant reduction in the engine, the Maserati Levante GTS is still offering high performance. Thus, the Italian SUV offers acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 292 km / h.

As for its aesthetics, this version of the Maserati Levante features a redesigned bumper and sportier essence, plus an interior in leather combinations and an audio system with 14 speakers per seat. Harman Kardon.
