The suspended end of the Copa Libertadores 2018 will be played between December 8 and 9 out of Argentina, in the venue to be defined, said Tuesday the President of Conmebol, the Paraguayan Alejandro Dominguez.
"The last game is played outside of Argentina," Dominguez told reporters, concluding a meeting in Asunción with the presidents of Boca and River to reprogram the final that was postponed after being attacked with stones and sticks the bus that led to the Boca campus.
The Conmebol said in a statement that the headquarters will be defined "as soon as possible" although it has specified that the organization of the meeting is "subject to the decision of the disciplinary court".
Boca lodged a complaint with the Conmebol court asking him to win the final, after Saturday's incidents near the Monumental stadium, which forced the suspension of the decisive match twice on the weekend.
The first leg of the final, played Nov. 11 at La Bombonera, was tied for 2-2 and no incidents were recorded.
