YouTube is testing a feature to discover more content.

YouTube has released an experimental "Explorer" tab to guide people to new videos and channels on mobile devices.

The tab will be displayed at the bottom of the home screen of the application for the According Tom Leung, director of product management for the company, 1% YouTube users on iOS are designed to allow them to broaden their horizons.

"Explore is designed to allow you to be exposed to different types of topics, videos or channels that you would not otherwise know," said Leung on the Creator Channel Insider. "But they will remain personalized, so they will be based on your activity in the video network. "
