PETER FRAMPTON announces the farewell tour; ZEPPELIN LED EVENING BY JASON BONHAM will open

Legendary guitarist Peter Frampton confirmed "Peter Frampton Finale – The Farewell Tour" presented by SiriusXM. The mostly American tour, produced by Live Nationwill begin June 18 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and will continue throughout the summer and fall. The tour will feature special guest THE EVENING OF ZEPPELIN LED BY JASON BONHAM, as good as Julian Frampton on the west coast, with additional surprise guests on certain dates.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public from Friday, March 1 at 10 am local LiveNation.com (Check local listings for pre-sales information). VIP packages will also be available at Frampton.com.

Citi is the official presale credit card of the tour. As such, Citi Cardholders will be able to purchase presale tickets on the announced dates beginning Tuesday, February 26 at 10:00 am local time, until Thursday, February 28 at 10:00 am. local time through CitiPrivate Pass program.

Peter Frampton remains one of the most praised artists in the history of rock. More recently, Frampton carried out as part of "I'm the highway: a tribute to Chris Cornell" concert as well as to receive the Les Paul Innovation Award at the 2019 NAMM Show34th annual TEC Award. He has also just celebrated the 43rd anniversary of his fifth solo album, "Frampton is alive!", one of the best selling records of all time, with more than 17 million copies sold worldwide.

At 16, he was a singer and guitarist for a British band THE HERD. At 18, he co-founded one of the first supergroups, the seminal rock band Humble Pie. His session work includes collaborations with legendary artists such as George Harrison, Harry Nilsson, David Bowie, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ringo Starr, John Entwistle, Mike McCready and Matt Cameron (PERLE JAM), among many others.

Frampton appeared as himself on TV shows "The simpsons" and "Family Guy". He was also a technical advisor on Cameron Crowethe 2000 film "Almost known" as well as to appear and write songs for the soundtrack. In 2007, he won the Grammy Award for "Best Instrumental Pop Album" for "Fingerprints" and in 2014 he was inducted into the Musician Hall Of Fame.
