PG & E goes bankrupt after California wildfires

Pacific Gas & Electric announced on Friday that it was going to cut off electricity for about 1,600 customers located in areas of northern California, considered "extreme fire risk areas."
The company unveiled its plan on Twitter, stating that he would begin to "proactively cut off food" around 6 am Saturday in parts of Napa, Solano and Yolo counties. The outage should last at least until Saturday afternoon, the company said.
The maneuver was part of a public safety power outage intended to "help reduce the risk of forest fire" and to ensure the safety of people and building structures, according to a press release.
