12 teams compete in the last places of the battle of VIVO Hoop

MANILA, Philippines – Twelve squads prepare for a royal battle at the Fairview Terraces in Novaliches, today in Quezon City, as they face each other for the last two places in the final stage four-stage eliminations leading to the VIVO Hoop Finals Championship of Phl.

Six teams advanced to the pioneer event finale here, an annual 3×3 basketball tournament held in some districts in China and other Asian countries. The phl leg, presented by AyalaMalls Synergies, Inc. and Vivo, is held at various shopping malls in Ayala in Metro Manila.

However, the focus will be on the pursuit for the last two finals among Tune Squad, Herons, MCM, Arellano U-2, Team Enderun, Triple B, EAC Pride, Twice, New Kicks Balloon Balls, EUDEX, Team Regal and Titans D & B.

Meanwhile, the top two teams in the eight-team final on July 29 at the Market! Market! will join other top teams from other Asian tournaments at the grand championship scheduled for August in Suzhou, China.

The best players in the Phl category will receive respectively 200 000 and 100 000 pesos while the three grand finals in China will receive respectively 3 million pesos, 900 000 pesos and 600 000 pesos sponsored by Vivo, the main brand of smartphones backed by NBA superstar Stephen Curry and supported by Capdase.

Just Coco, presented by Prince Rivero and Brent Paraiso, with the member of the U-18 3×3 Encho Serrano and Ajay Khatri, and Team Core, led by JR Alabanza, the former pillar of the # 39, UE, JP Cauilan, John Vidal and Axel Torres of Mandaluyong in the MPBL, dominated the third stage at South Park recently to clinch places in the final.
