5 Memorable Moments in the "Where Stars Land" Finale

[ad_1]

"Where Stars Land" has already reached its peak and we are really sad to see him leave. Lee Je Hoon as Lee Soo Yeon and Chae Soo Bin as Han Yeo Reum have illuminated the screen with their chemistry and their unique love story. Here are five memorable moments from episodes 31 and 32.

Attention: spoilers for episodes 31 and 32 below.

1. When Seo In Woo saves Lee Soo Yeon

After last week's episodes, we finally discovered that Lee Soo Yeon's long-lost brother, Seo In Woo (Lee Dong Gun), was not really trying to stab him. It's quite comforting to know because Seo In Woo does not seem to have many people in his life who support him.

This week we met the evil thugs who were trying to take Soo Yeon to hit him. But In Woo discovers where he is and introduces himself, trying to save him. He ends up defending his little brother and risking his life. It's a beautiful moment when Soo Yeon realizes that his brother is there for him.

2. When Lee Soo Yeon saves his big brother

Lee Soo Yeon is not in the best possible condition with his arm at the moment. We know that if he continues to use his biological arm, he puts his life in danger. That's why he is so emotional that he pulls his brother's car to stop him from crossing the edge of a cliff. He puts his life in danger to save his brother.

3. When Na Young Joo makes a gesture on Oh Dae Gi

It's lovely to see Na Young Joo (Lee Soo Kyung), who was afraid to demolish his walls, to let Oh Dae Gi (Kim Kyung Nam) love him. He was so seduced by her throughout the series, but in the last episodes we finally arrive at the moment we were waiting. Although both do not give pleasure and officially become their boyfriends and girlfriends, they are quite aware of how they feel for each other and that is nice to look at.

4. This intense moment when Yeo Reum is about to stuff the needle in Soo Yeon

When Mr. Jang gives Yeo Reum the needle that will prevent Soo Yeon from using the robotic arm and leg, he does so in the hope that she will use it to save his life. She has the opportunity to do this when she spends the night at home. It's an intense moment when the audience wonders if it will do it or not.

So when he wakes up and sees what he is about to do, the next moments are rather unpredictable. Yeo Reum begs him to flee, the two kiss each other, then Soo Yeon gets the needle.

5. When the two finally meet

After Soo Yeon stabs himself with the needle, we do not really know what's going on with both of them. The scene changes for a year later and Yeo Reum is still working at the airport. She surprises workers who talk about Soo Yeon and she rushes to find him. The two finally meet and share an epic embrace.

At first, I thought I saw Soo Yeon's face. It's an interesting idea not to reveal his face on this particular scene, especially if it's the finale. And that ended up asking a few questions for which I wanted answers: did he still have the robotic arm and leg? And where was he for the year? Despite these questions, I was pleased to see that the two men were reunited and that there was a closure.

Lee I Hoon continued to produce excellent roles, so when I heard about this series, I thought it would be as good as his other dramas. Although the story begins loudly at the beginning with the super romantic moments, the episodes became boring as Lee Soo Yeon had to come and save everyone every time something terrible would happen at the airport. It would have been more interesting to deepen the history of the character of Lee Je Hoon or even that of Han Yeo Reum. And as the drama progressed, it was frustrating to see all the people who wanted to discover the secret of Soo Yeon. I mean, is it really so serious that he has a robotic arm and a leg?

On the other hand, the highlights of the series were by far Lee I Hoon and the second couple. Na Young Joo and Oh Dae Gi are so endearing and adorable to watch. As a viewer, I could quite imagine a K drama revolving around their love story and wish they would focus a little more on both. But again, they were not the main couple.

Rosiedaes

Overall, the series went well and although I really like it, it unfortunately fell flat somewhere along the line. There were moments that made it worthwhile, but apart from these moments, there was nothing special about it. However, if you're a fan of Lee Je Hoon (like me) and you can not help but admire his acting skills, it might be worth it.
