MANILA, Philippines – Mapua opened its NCAA Season 94 campaign with a win over Jose Rizal University, 72-60, in the Heavy Bombers' residence at JRU Gym In Mandaluyong, Thursday, July 12

Laurenz Victoria, a strong goalkeeper, led a fine team effort from the Cardinals, scoring 11 points in addition to 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
