Bryan Otico, who became the first unseeded player to win the men’s singles crown last year, will be back when the 37th Philippine Columbian Association Open tennis tournament kicks off on Nov. 16 in Paco, Manila.

The 19-year-old Otico, who won the men’s singles crown from veteran Davis Cupper PJ Tierro, 6-4, 6-3, 3-6, 3-6, 6-4 in a marathon finals match, will seek another crown in a field that includes Alberto (AJ) Lim Jr. (2016 champion), Patrick John (PJ) Tierro and eight-time PCA Open champion Johnny Arcilla.

Marian Jade Capadocia will go for her sixth PCA Open title.

Out to spoil that goal will be Clarice Patrimonio, Bambi Zoleta and Akiko De Guzman.

Titles will also be at stake in the 10 events of the age group competitions.

Roland Kraut, one of the organizers of the event, said registration for the 2018 PCA Open is ongoing with the guidelines and updates available via the official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PCA-OPEN-2018-787348301431697/, Twitter (@PCAOpen) and Instagram (@PCAOpen).
