According to Locsin, a similar system could be used for filtering visa applications at Philippine consulates in China.

Locsin shared a tweet from a user responding to an Inquirer report on Monday's Senate hearing on the influx of suspected illegal Chinese workers in Metro Manila.
The head of the FDFA thanked Senator Joel Villanueva, chairman of the Senate Committee on Labor, for his indignation at the revelation that 119,000 foreigners, mostly from mainland China, were able to circumvent the labor laws by entering as tourists and obtaining special permits to work in the online game. operations.
Villanueva had said that Chinese nationals "stole our jobs, took away our homes and spoiled Filipino opportunities" by taking advantage of the loophole of labor and immigration policies.
Increased penalties
His panel looks at the proliferation of alleged illegal workers from China, whose numbers have increased around Metro Manila to a level that does not match that of official foreign jobs.
In the House of Representatives, a bill passed at third reading aimed at increasing the penalties for foreigners working illegally in the Philippines and by their employers.
