In Kuwait, a Filipino employee died after apparently leaving her employer's home on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry said.
In a statement issued Wednesday by the FDFA, the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait is cooperating closely with local authorities investigating the death of the domestic worker. The FDFA did not name the Filipino worker in his statement.
According to Chargé d'Affaires Noordin Lomondot, the worker allegedly jumped from the third floor of her employer's residence in Sabahiya.
The FDFA assured the family of the Filipino worker that she would provide assistance for the repatriation of her remains. / kga
