Aquaman could have been censored in the UK to reach a more moderate ranking

It's hard to know which scene was changed, as the movie is full of action sequences, although it's not really a bloody movie. The violence is more apparent to most modern superhero movies and does not involve many "gory details" as the BBFC report states.

Nevertheless, the rating board noticed something and decided that it had to be changed if Aquaman was going to be ranked 12A, and Warner Bros. obliged.

It is also difficult to know if the studio has changed this scene for each version or just the British version. Whatever the case may be, the change should not alarm fans – as Digital Spy notes, it is common for big budget movies to be fine-tuned like this one, because each market has its own standard of rankings and a film like Aquaman must appeal to a broad demographics.
