President Rodrigo Duterte warned the Parojinog clan, a political family from the city of Ozamiz that would be involved in the drug trade, that he would annihilate them if they "did not stop threatening people" in the province.
In a speech delivered Wednesday evening on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of the modernization project of Ozamiz Airport, Mr. Duterte said: "The Parojinog family, stop threatening people. I will wipe you off the face of the earth. I tell you."
Duterte issued the warning after Misamis Occidental 2nd Dist. Representative Henry Oaminal told the President that threats against the Parojinog clan have been made.
"I'm really going to finish you, including the police. You better be careful. I will call you in Manila. When you arrive at the airport, I will kill you, "he said.
The general manager ordered the return of the chief inspector. Jovie Espenido to the city of Ozamiz.
