Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are getting ready for their wedding right now. The couple and some of their guests are currently in India to prepare for the celebration of several days.
Earlier in the day, Priyanka and Nick started with a puja, a Hindu prayer ritual, at Priyanka's mother's house in Mumbai. Both wore traditional Indian clothing for the occasion. Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner were also spotted.
A source said Harper's Bazaar that the wedding festivities would begin on November 30th. But, as is the tradition of Indian marriage, a three-day wedding often begins with an intimate puja, as they did today. This means that the main ceremony and reception at Taj Uwaid Bhawan in Jodhpur could take place on December 1st.
For the wedding dress, Priyanka kept the secret on her plans, but we might not see her dressed in white. The Indian tradition associates color with funerals, after all. Unless, of course, Nick and she decide to organize a more Western celebration, although they can also celebrate another wedding in the United States.
