The midfielder of Inter Milan would really be a great rookie for Tottenham Hotspur.
Mauricio Pochettino will certainly seek to strengthen his midfielder options in Tottenham over the next two transfer slots, Mousa Dembele's contract being close to the expiry date and Victor Wanyama apparently being at the disposal of the transfer.
According to the Italian book Calcio Mercato, Marcelo Brozović, the ace of Inter Milan, is particularly excited about the Spurs. Poch could have seen first-hand the Croatian abilities at Wembley last night.
The 26-year-old midfielder was just superb against Tottenham yesterday, and despite losing to the losers, he proved that he had all the attributes necessary to be a Premier League success.
Brozovic already has a lot of experience, having won 42 caps for Croatia, and he would add a certain level of calm possession and tenacity to the Spurs' machine room.
Pochettino would surely have been impressed by what he had seen from Inter last night and seeing that Dembele's contract was expiring in just six months, he should consider offering the player Belgian side to the Serie A team to try to soften a possible contract for Brozovic.
And if Poch succeeds in bringing Inter to North London in January or next summer, this could prove to be a real signature for Tottenham.
