After being attacked by Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley, Braun Strowman was removed from the Raw channel after the Survivor series. He needed an operation to get rid of his elbow bones and, although he is already starting his rehab and he is very focused, his involvement in TLC is questionable.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that the TLC matches were anyway the worst games for the elbows. After all, you have to constantly grab ladders, chairs and everything else with your arms, otherwise you'll catch the object in the face. As a result, many Superstars get into TLC matches with their elbows tight and come out hurt.
It was also noted that the idea was that even if Strowman could not come back and play a full match at the TLC, he would at least be able to come up against a powerful Baron Corbin's publisher to make sure that it does not become not a full time general manager, which is Corbin's intention.
Since Baron boasts that the match is still topical and that he wins the title of authority by default, something must be in place to ruin his plans.
Only time will tell how the WWE frees itself from another difficult situation with regard to injuries on the main list. But they need to quickly put something online, hopefully, they'll have a much better idea of what's going on since Braun Strowman's operation.
