Sting and Shaggy descend from Miami in an Abarth 124 Spider
When we watch music videos, one of the key features we often see is the main role played by major vehicles in super cars or SUVs and luxury sedans. However, Shaggy and Sting have decided to choose something more "attractive" for their last clip. To be more precise, the two are rolling in a video clip of the Gotta Get Back My Baby series of the Fiat 124 Spider Abarth in the 80s of their collaboration album 44/876.
In the music video, Spider plays the lead role in the Sting and Shaggy merry-go-round, which represent two Miami detectives. To complete the look of the Miami cops, the two men even convinced their captain that they were going to have "need the spider". Overall, the clip has a theme and mood of the 80s and 90s, which refers to classic television series and movies such as Miami Vice.
If the Abarth 124 Spider may not have the same power as a Ferrari Lamborghini or Spider, it certainly does its job as well when you just want to party in Miami as the video shows.
This is not the first time that Shaggy and Sting and the Fiat-Chrysler Association (FCA) have collaborated on one of their music videos. The two men had previously used a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara for another music video, Don's Make Me Wait, taken from the same album.
"We continue to fight for the unexpected in our marketing efforts for all FCA brands and, certainly here, the FIAT brand's upbeat personality gives us the opportunity to be a bit more adventurous and playful in our approach. with our musical partners. The Fiat 124 Spider Abarth is incredibly honored to play the role of accompanying legendary and daring artists such as Sting and Shaggy in their latest video clip, "said Olivier Francois, director of marketing and chief brand FIAT, FCA.
