ANGKAS, the fastest-growing motorcycle application service in the Philippines, offers the country's first-ever motorcycle-ambulance service.
Nicknamed "Angkas Buhay", this revolutionary ambulance service aims to provide first aid on the spot in case of emergency or to immediately transport the doctors to the patient. In this regard, Angkas is inviting existing driver partners and new members to join the pilot program in Metro Manila to train as volunteer paramedics.
Initially a collaboration between Angkas, Notre Dame colleges of Guadalupe (OLGC) and the Victor R. Launched on November 25 at the Ynares Center of Antipolo, in Rizal, during Angkas' first Safety Fiesta to commemorate its first anniversary, Angkas Buhay is the latest initiative in the transportation application for public safety.
