June Mar Fajardo and LA Tenorio officially return for the Filipino team. The Samahang Basketbol Pilipinas announced Wednesday the composition of the final team of twelve men Gilas Pilipinas.
Fajardo, the most dominant player in the country today, will face Kazakhstan against Kazakhstan in the fifth qualifying window of the 2018 Fiba World Cup in Asia on Friday night.
The four-time PBA MVP missed Gilas' last two games against Iran and Qatar two months ago with a tibial injury.
Tenorio, 34, will wear the colors of the national team for the first time since the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.
Naturalized Guards Stanley Pringle, Scottie Thompson, Greg Slaughter, Japeth Aguilar, Beau Belga, Alex Cabagnot, JP Erram, Marcio Lassiter, Gabe Norwood and Matthew Wright join Fajardo and Tenorio.
