CLEVELAND – Kyle Korver gets another shot with a competitor.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to exchange Korver, one of the best shooters from outside the NBA, at Utah Jazz, said Wednesday to the Associated Press a person familiar with this deal. In exchange for Korver, the Cavs will receive goalkeeper Alec Burks – and his contract expiring – as well as two future second-round picks, according to the person who requested anonymity as the exchange must be approved by the NBA . Trade may not become official until Thursday.
For Korver, Cleveland will get the selection of the second round of Utah in 2020, as well as the second round of Washington, in 2021. The Cavs also receive an asset in the expiring contract of Burks, worth $ 11.2 million. dollars, which they could use in another contract.
