The second week of the 2018-19 NBA regular season is in the books and a number of the league’s newcomers have already shown why they were thought so highly out coming out of college or their professional career overseas.
With that being the case, Colin Ward-Henninger of CBS Sports has released the first edition of his weekly NBA Rookie Power Rankings and there is a bit of a surprise at the top of his list as there has been a great deal of impressive performances from the 2018 rookie class over the course of the first two weeks of regular season play.
As you can see from the article below, the top pick from this past June’s NBA Draft is among the top rookies in their initial rankings but he is not the one holding down the top spot which should lead to plenty of conversation as the season moves forward and we see more and more of these rookies in action.
