CSB Blazers endings with huge win, stop Letran Knights' streak at six

COLLEGE of St. Benilde finished with a flyer as it snapped off Letran's six-game winning run in NCAA Season 94 with a 94-81 victory on Tuesday at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Carlo Young hit timely 3-pointers in the fourth to fend off every Letran rally, taking the cue from Clement Leutcheu and Justin Gutang who led the Blazers' hot start.

While the victory was a nice way to end things for the Blazers, it was not enough to catapult them to Final Four despite ending at 10-8.

A win, however, in the boardroom could very well be the trick.

As in the case of a crime, the board is still in the process of being punished.

If that happens, the Blazers could be making their way back to the Final Four for the first time in 15 years.

"His ngayon, I do not know what happened on his Mancomm." "What's going on ?," said St. Benilde coach TY Tang.

"We've had a great record," he added.

Leutcheu finished with 19 points and five rebounds Yankie Haruna had 15 points, six rebounds and five assists. Young and Gutang added 13 and 12 respectively.
