Kevin Durant has been known to train with random fans on social media, especially during the offseason. His burner account incident did not change that … nor did he have a second NBA MVP, apparently.
On Tuesday, Durant contested an account Instagram post, Bucketscenter, which is run by teenager champion Kalyb. ] Champion had posted a picture of Durant, Kawhi Leonard and Anthony Davis with the caption, "3 elite two-way players but not raising a team quite like LeBron and Steph because of their impairments of playmaking / leadership. "
tagged in the post and jumped into Champion's comments.
Durant wrote:
"Bruh will sweep you dorm, you do not know hoops … me in this trash" [19659005] The star of the Warriors was obviously not made. Champion would later post screenshots of direct messages from Durant's account. Durant called Champion a "college / knock off stephen a." When the Champion called Durant uncertain, Durant continued the argument.
Durant ends up apologizing for his Stephen A. Smith remark, but there is still no reason for Kevin Durant to waste time and energy on attach each Instagram post that offense. He is an NBA superstar, and there will be fans who will not like him for no reason.
This is a pointless exercise for Durant to argue every perceived flaw in his basketball career in Instagram and DM comments.
