President Rodrigo Duterte has transferred Aileen Lizada, member of the Board of Regulatory and Liberalization of Land Transport (LTFRB), to the Public Service Commission (CSC).
Duterte signed the Lizada Appointment Document as Acting Commissioner of the CSC on November 9th. But a copy of Lizada's appointment was only released to the media on Thursday.
Lizada will replace Robert Martinez and will be Acting Commissioner until February 2, 2025.
Lizada was the only dissenter of the LTFRB to increase the minimum rate of jeepneys P2.
Duterte has also appointed Carim Panumpang as Deputy Secretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Allan Gepty as Assistant Secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). / kga
