President Rodrigo Duterte will avoid the wreath-laying ceremony for the 155th anniversary of the birth of Andres Bonifacio, announced Friday Malacañang.
The spokesman of the president, Salvador Panelo, declared that the president "must go to Mindanao to solve the problem of the insurrection".
The Executive Secretary, Salvador Medialdea, will participate on his behalf, added Panelo.
