Duterte pledges to eliminate the Parojinog family
President Rodrigo Duterte threatened Wednesday to cancel the "disappearance" of the family of Ozamiz Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog, who was linked to drug trafficking.

Espenido was the city's chief of police when Parojinog and 14 others were killed in a series of raids in 2017.
He added that the mission of Espenido would be "to erase the clan of the mayor of the son of the abbot".
"You, Parojinogs, I'm going to wipe you off the surface of the Earth," Duterte said.
The president also promised to "cremate" Parojinogs-related policemen in Metro Manila.
In a message to reporters, Albayalde announced that he would immediately issue an order directing the regional director of Espenido, in region 8, to transfer it to region 10.
Espenido also directed the operations against Albuera, the mayor of Leyte, Rolando Espinosa. Ralph Edwin U. Villanueva
