Australian Fitness Coach Justin Fortune prefers Amir Khan to then fight WBA welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, making proposals for the Philippine senator to face Vasyl Lomachenko or Terence Crawford because the Briton could draw 100,000 spectators to Wembley Stadium in London.

But the former WBO titro, Chris Algieri, now a boxing analyst for ESPN TV, said Khan would be a tough opponent for Pacquiao. Algieri said that Khan is faster with his combinations although Pacquiao has a more explosive first step. Algieri lost to Khan and Pacquiao in points, but suffered six breakdowns while leaning in front of the Filipino.

Fortune, however, said that Khan will not be able to handle the Pacquiaos power. Before Pacquiao fought Lucas Matthysse in Kuala Lumpur more than a week ago, Fortune predicted that the Argentine would fall back because of the power factor. The difference between Matthysse and Khan is that the Argentine, slower, is an easy target while the 2004 Olympic lightweight silver medalist, who is fast on his feet, is not.

Fortune said Lomachenko and Crawford are protected Bob Arums senior CEO. Personally, I do not think Bob wanted Manny to beat Matthysse, Fortune said. Manny can promote his own fights and does not need Bob. So why fight against one of Bob's fighters?

Lomachenko, 30, is the WBA lightweight champion in the title and has a record of 11-1, with 9 knockouts. He once fought over 130 pounds and that's when he stopped Jorge Linares for the WBA crown in New York last May. Lomachenko recently said that hell would only fight Pacquiao at the limit of 135 pounds, no more, not less. Pacquiao has not evolved inside the 135 pound limit since the arrest of David Diaz in 2008 and there are 17 fights.

Crawford, 30, is the WBO welterweight titlist. His record is 30-0, with 24 knockouts. He is the former WBO lightweight champion and IBF / WBC / WBO / WBA. Last June, Crawford quit Jeff Horn to snatch the WBO welterweight crown. He is often described as the second coming of Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

Lomachenko would not be a problem for Manny, said Fortune. He fights using a single angle while Manny has different angles. I do not think he has the power to hurt Manny. Moreover, Manny is too fast for Lomachenko. He will not be a permanent target for a shot on the body like Linares. As for Crawford, what's the use of fighting him? Crawford will earn much more than Manny if he wins.

Khan, 31, is a popular figure in the UK and Fortune said the hell pack Wembley Stadium with a fight against Pacquiao. In 2014, the supermiddleweight WMA / IBF title bout between Carl Froch and George Groves attracted 80,000 fans to Wembley. Last year, the WBA / IBF heavyweight championship fight between Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko attracted 90,000 fans in the stadium. A concert in Wembley can accommodate 90,000 spectators, plus another 15,000 on a permanent basis.

Khan, who was a Pacquiao sparmate, has a record of 32-4, with 20 knockouts, including seven in the first round. He took a two-year break after losing to Canelo Alvarez by a knockout and came back to stop Phil Lo Greco in the first round in Liverpool last April. On September 8, Khan will face Colombian Samuel Vargas in a 12-round event in Birmingham. If Khan beats Vargas, Hell calls Pacquiao for sure.

Khans' weakness is a jaw of glass. He was stopped by Breidis Prescott in a round, Danny Garcia in seven years and Alvarez in six. English fans will want Khan to avenge their hero Ricky Hattons, who suffered a devastating loss to Pacquiao in 2009.
